Hi, my name is Stacie. My 14-year-old and I would like to coordinate a group Field Trip to the Walnut Grove Plantation with Spartanburg History.
The field trip will be an afternoon (2:00-6:00pm) on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
The cost will be $5 for adults and $7 for students.
The experience will include the plantation tour and hands-on candle-making activity.
For more information about Walnut Grove, view their website here: https://www.spartanburghistory.org/sites/walnut-grove
Location Address: 1200 Otts Shoals Rd, Roebuck, SC
Younger siblings (ages 0-4) may attend at no cost, as long as they stay with parents at all times and are not allowed to distract students’ hands-on learning experience.
Please note that this field trip is not hosted by Mountains 2 Sea Homeschool Association, and I’m not a staff member with the Association. I’m just a mom trying to set something up for my kid and other homeschoolers. I happen to also have a consulting business, which makes it easy for me to accept virtual payments and pool our resources together to coordinate meeting the minimum number of participants.
I am not making any profit from your registration fee. The full amount you pay for registration will be passed on to Spartanburg County Historical Association to cover the costs of the program (except for $1 per student, which is retained by me to cover the cost of credit card transaction fees).
Have Questions?
If you have questions about the field trip, submit the form below and I’ll email you back. If you’re ready to register, scroll back up, select the number of students and adults, and click “register”.
PS. I am a real person.
I know that paying a stranger on the internet can be nerve-wracking.
If you're worried whether I'm a real person or a nice person (I'm not being sarcastic... I totally get it!), I'll make it a little easier for you to check:
You can find reviews from people who have attending my trainings and Girl Scout field trips in the past: https://www.facebook.com/staciesimpsonconsulting/reviews
You can also check out my work history and recommendations as a Program Director for Girl Scouts here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/staciesimpson/
I promise I'll use your family's financial resources for this field trip. And if it gets canceled for any reason, you'll receive a full refund.
